Keyword Optimization - Critical Keyword Optimization Techniques

Here are some of the keyword optimization techniques that are critical for all major search engines.

1) Conduct research on what keywords are searched the most using sources like google trends or keyword tracker tools and always concentrate on a specific topic when creating content. You should be able to justify the keyword and its connection to the content. Keyword optimization is only productive if you have related content and otherwise it would be a waste of time and effort.

2) Your page title must include the keywords and this matters a lot as far as keyword optimization is concerned.

3) If you know how to insert title into a table that the content is inserted to, then also use the keywords as the title.

4) Make sure the keywords are if possible evenly distributed on a 1:12 word ratio without too much spelling and grammatical error.

5) Try to put keywords logically in headings with H1 and H2 same time not jeopardizing the ergonomic set up of your pages

6) If you have references in the page to other pages or websites then if possible arrange in such a way that the keywords are placed in between the links.

7) Never ever refer to any site that has offensive content and is banned or is vulnerable to black listing. You should not link to such a site even for example because robots cannot differentiate your objective and your sober attempt for keyword optimization can land you in trouble.

8) Most search engines do not entertain web pages with pop ups and try to avoid them.

9) Include the keywords in the meta tags and description tags.

10) Inserting keywords in the web page name like, for example, defectiveparenting.htm as this has proved to be a great attraction for search engine robots.

11) Try to link to some quality sites through link exchanges or by mutual.

12) Submit your website to search engine submission sites even though this is not in particular a part of keyword optimization .

13) Make sure there are no broken links in the page and arrange the content in a navigable, logical and informative manner even though the latter two has little to do with keyword optimization.

14) Never put duplicate or plagiarised content in your web page; chances are that it will be detected by the search engine or in the worst case scenario, its owner might contact the ad provider and they will black list you.
